Important Information on Voluntary Recall of Select Jif^® Products

We take very seriously the role Jif^® products play for your staff, residents, guests and whole operation, and we are working to provide you accurate and up-to-date information on an ongoing basis.

In cooperation with the CFIA we have issued a voluntary recall of select Jif^® peanut butter products due to a potential salmonella contamination.

Our top priority is ensuring our customers understand the details of the recall and are supported. We recognize your trust, and our reputation are built on our fundamental commitment to high standards for ingredients and manufacturing. We take your concerns seriously and are committed to producing safe, high quality peanut butter.

We encourage you to use the following information on Canadian impacted products to determine whether you have impacted products in your possession.

1. Check your product.

2. Your product is listed above? Check the product lot code. This information can be found on the product packaging.

The product lot code range for the impacted products is between 1274425 – 2140425. Please note that the lot code represents the first seven digits on the packaging.
